Book Donation Guidelines

The Friends of the Cedar Springs Public Library handle all donations. Please contact them via email at friendsofcedarspringslibrary@gmail.com to arrange a time to review your proposed donation.

HARDCOVER PREFERRED: We will only accept hardcover books for use in our collection. We do not accept mass market paperbacks (smaller books). Exceptions include some trade paperbacks (larger books) and middle grade readers.

GOOD CONDITION: All materials should be in good condition with minimal wear and tear. Books with torn pages and/or writing will not be accepted. DVDs & Blu-Rays should have minimal scratches.

RELEVANT/TIMELY INFORMATION: We will not accept Non-Fiction titles with a publication date of older than 2 years. Exceptions include biographies and some instructional (“How-to”) books.
