Welcome to the very first edition of "Check It Out!", the official newsletter of Cedar Springs Public Library! We're excited to have you here and look forward to sharing the latest library news, upcoming events, reading recommendations, and helpful resources with you each month.

In this issue, you'll find everything you need to wrap up an incredible Summer Reading Challenge, learn about exciting programs on the horizon, discover new ways to make the most of your library card, and stay connected with all that's happening at CSPL. Whether you're a lifelong library lover or just getting started, we're glad you're part of our community.

Join us at the Summer Reading Celebration on Saturday, August 1!

Celebrate reaching your reading goals at our hottest event of the year - attend the Summer Reading Celebration on Saturday, August 1 from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. in the Heart of Cedar Springs! We'll have an inflatable ostacle course, bounce houses, face painting, balloons, a bubble party, and so much more.

Prize winners will be drawn at 2:30 p.m. - this includes all 12 Grand Prizes, top reader prizes, and the Pie Ms. Melissa raffle.

DON'T FORGET! Tuesday, July 28 is the final day to log all reading minutes, enter event codes, and complete missions. All Raffle Tickets must be claimed at the Circulation Desk by Friday, July 31. The Library will not be open Saturday, August 1, and you won't be able to claim your tickets at the Summer Reading Celebration. Don't miss your chance to win a phenomenal prize!
